We are launching a fundraising campaign and are looking for a graphic designer to bring creativity and ideas to enliven our text with visuals that draw in and inform the reader or viewer.
What difference will you make?
We currently have 2 websites and some graphics. You can see our manifesto (attached) or visit our websites, and we need visuals that resonate with our climate action message and help bring concepts across. With your help, we can double or treble the impact our communications have. We are wholly dependent on volunteers and your work would be suitably praised and acknowledged on our materials, websites and social media. In the longer term, you may also consider taking part in our other activities and potentially becoming a trustee for the charity.
What are we looking for?
Our ideal person would be talented enough to come up with creative ideas and experienced and confident enough to ask the right questions and prompt at the right moments for the information and feedback that they will need to tackle the task at hand. You will have experience in:
- Graphic design
- Digital and IT strategy
It would be great if the person had some examples in their portfolio that they could let us see.
What will you be doing?
You would work with the other volunteers and trustees of this charity to:
- learn about EcoCounts, EcoCore and the visual theme and branding
- work with the brand book and website
- create or adapt graphics and other visuals
- work in GIMP, cloud pptx format or Canva and share files
- be happy taking feedback and iterating over designs
