Trainee Solar PV Installer/Labourer
Location: Summerfield House, Kidderminster, Worcestershire (with regular site travel)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 FTE plus benefits
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
As part of our continued growth, Eco2Solar are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Solar PV Installer/Labourer to join our team. Based at our head office, Summerfield House, with regular travel to project sites required, this role provides the opportunity to develop practical skills and build a career within the renewable energy sector.
About the role
As a Trainee Solar PV Installer/Labourer, you will work alongside experienced installers to support the installation of Solar PV systems while gaining practical skills and industry knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the renewable energy sector through hands-on experience, training and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Working as part of the installation team, you will help prepare tools, equipment and materials, keep work areas safe and organised and follow guidance from the Lead Installer. You will work in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements, take part in ongoing training and be flexible to travel or stay away from home where required by project demands.
About you
You will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn the skills required to become a Solar PV Installer. You will be reliable, organised and able to follow instructions while supporting the installation team with tools, materials and safe working practices. You will take pride in delivering quality workmanship and developing your technical knowledge through hands-on experience and training.
You will work well as part of a team, communicate clearly with colleagues and be willing to ask questions and learn from experienced installers. You will demonstrate a commitment to health and safety, attention to detail and a flexible approach to supporting projects and meeting customer expectations.
