Eco2Solar is excited to announce an opportunity to join the UK's largest and most successful Solar PV installer as a Renewables Electrician, based in Bury. We will help you develop the skills to future-proof your career by installing EV chargers, Solar PV systems, battery storage, and innovative products for new build housing developers to meet carbon reduction targets.
The role offers the right candidate the opportunity to build, develop, and grow their career with a highly reputable and growing company. You will stay ahead of the latest technology and work with the UK's largest new build solar installer, in partnership with Eon.
Working in a safe and controlled environment, you will install renewable energy systems for new build housing developers, aiming to achieve the highest standard of quality, safety, and customer service in low carbon electrical installations.
As a Renewables Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- The safe and efficient installation of PV systems (inverters and generation meters)
- Accurate and timely submission of paperwork
- Compliance with MCS and Health, Safety, and Quality standards
This is a site-based role requiring daily travel, with occasional overnight stays as needed. Previous experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds is required.
Qualifications:
- 18th Edition electrical qualifications (BS7671)
- N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) OR a completed apprenticeship with AM2
- Solar certification (BPEC or City & Guilds) Level 3 Award in the Installation of Small-Scale PV Systems
- CSCS/ECS Card for site works
- Testing and Inspection 2391-52
- Experience in 3 phase installations
