Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 FTE plus benefits, depending on experience

Eco2Solar are pleased to announce a new and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the UKs largest and most successful Solar PV installer as a Lead Solar PV Installer, based in our Glasgow office and covering Scotland.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Installer Leads to join Eco2 Solar, leading two-person teams across Scotland. As a key member of our Solar PV installation team, you will ensure exceptional quality and customer service for new build residential and commercial solar PV installations, including both flat and pitched roof installations. You will collaborate with our skilled Solar PV electricians, traveling across Scotland and occasionally Northern England to complete installations.

Your responsibilities will include adhering to the highest health, safety, and quality standards and actively participating in fostering a positive safety culture. Working alongside our Installations Manager, you will also contribute to the training and upskilling of Solar PV Installation Labourers. At Eco2 Solar, we focus on clear expectations and feedback to help our team members grow and develop, rather than imposing endless KPIs or micromanaging.

About you

To be successful in this role you'll have strong communication skills, be reliable and a team player. You will be able to work within established timeframes and possess excellent timekeeping skills. Previous experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds is required. Experience in 3 phase installations would be helpful but not essential.

You’ll be working across a number of areas so strong organisational skills are also a must. To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience installing solar PV systems
  • Over 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in roofing or a similar field.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • IPAF qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working at height, ladder safety, and manual handling
  • SSMTS or SSSTS certification (desirable but not essential)
  • A full UK driver's license.
