About the role:
As the National Account Manager you will be accountable for coaching and leading a team of Key Account Managers who are responsible for delivering outstanding service to existing customers. You will implement, monitor, and manage a structured Account Management process. The Key outcomes of your role will be:
- Negotiate and secure the extension and renewal of all group agreements with key customers
- Drive 25% increase in year on year revenue with new customers/products/services
- Provide 360 overview of customer relationships, working with all departments from the Key Account Managers
- Developing and leading a World Class Account Management (Sales) Team to achieve sales targets
- Work with all departments to achieve monthly Net Promoter Score of 9-10 / 10 from customers
- Secure additional contracts and sign up more customers to (long term) formal agreements
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing good relationships with customers and negotiating high level agreements
- Implementing Account Management strategies
- Analysing data and trends
- Identify commercial opportunities
- Oversee all relationships with key customers
- Attending monthly networking/industry conferences
- Attend monthly review and feedback meetings with key customers (Board level)
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the needs of the customer are being met
