Eco2Solar is pleased to announce a new and exciting opportunity to join the UK’s largest and most successful Solar PV installer as a Renewables Electrician, based in Bury. We will help you to develop the skills to future proof your career by installing EV chargers, Solar PV systems, battery storage and innovative products for new build housing developers to meet carbon reduction targets.
The role of the Renewables Electrician offers the right candidate the opportunity to build, develop and grow their career with a highly reputable and growing company. Stay ahead of the latest technology and work with the UK’s largest new build solar installer, working in partnership with Eon.
Working in a safe and controlled environment, installing renewable energy systems for new build housing developers, your mission will be to achieve the highest standard of quality, safety and customer service in low carbon electrical installations.
As a Renewables Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- The safe and efficient installation of PV systems (inverters and generation meters)
- Accurate and timely submission of paperwork
- Compliance with MCS and Health, Safety and Quality standards
This is a site-based role requiring travel on a daily basis. There will be a requirement for overnight stays as and when required.
Previous experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds is required:
- 18th Edition electrical qualifications (BS7671)
- N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) OR a completed apprenticeship with AM2
- Solar certification (BPEC or City & Guilds) Level 3 Award in the Installation of Small-Scale PV Systems
- CSCS/ECS Card for site works
- Testing and Inspection
- Experience in 3 phase installations
You will be flexible in working arrangements and be driven to go the extra mile to ensure we deliver a high-quality service for our customers.
You will be entitled to a productivity bonus giving you the ability to increase your earnings. You will receive a loyalty bonus to say thank you from us upon completion of each full year worked. You will have a company van, a fuel card and tools provided. You will have 34 days annual leave.
