Looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference to young adults with addition needs/ challenging behaviours? We have opportunities available for Support Workers (Social Care) to join our team at our respite home, providing care for all of our young people including:
- assisting with activities in the home and on trips out
- personal care, bathing and showering
- assistance with eating and drinking
- tube feeding
- administration of medication
- cooking, cleaning, and other activities as and when required
Responsibilities
- Provide support and personal care to our young adults
- Maintain logs and records (on computer and written)
- Work with other professionals as necessary
- Support our young people with emotional or behavioural needs and help develop social skills
- Ensure the home is clean and kept to a good standard during each shift
Qualifications and experience
- Experience is advantageous although not essential as training will be provided
