Looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference to young adults with addition needs/ challenging behaviours? We have opportunities available for Support Workers (Social Care) to join our team at our respite home, providing care for all of our young people including:

  • assisting with activities in the home and on trips out
  • personal care, bathing and showering
  • assistance with eating and drinking
  • tube feeding
  • administration of medication
  • cooking, cleaning, and other activities as and when required

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and personal care to our young adults
  • Maintain logs and records (on computer and written)
  • Work with other professionals as necessary
  • Support our young people with emotional or behavioural needs and help develop social skills
  • Ensure the home is clean and kept to a good standard during each shift

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience is advantageous although not essential as training will be provided
