Looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference to young adults with addition needs and challenging behaviours? We have opportunities available for Support Workers (Social Care) to join our team at our respite home, providing care for all of our young people including:

  • Assisting with activities in the home and on trips out
  • Personal care, bathing and showering
  • Assistance with eating and drinking, tube feeding
  • Administration of medication
  • Cooking, cleaning, and other activities as and when required

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide support and personal care to our young adults
  • Maintain logs and records (on computer and written)
  • Work with other professionals as necessary
  • Support our young people with emotional or behavioural needs and help develop social skills
  • Ensure the home is clean and kept to a good standard during each shift

Experience is advantageous although not essential as training will be provided. There is an opportunity to complete Health & Social Care diplomas and to advance through the company. A good understanding of young people with varying disabilities is essential for this role. Candidates must have good English communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.

Rate of pay is subject to experience. Shifts are allocated on a rota basis. Contract will be 35 hours per week covering evenings, weekends and sleep shifts. Full and part time (16 hours per week plus) positions available.
