Responsibilities
- Provide support and personal care to our young adults.
- Maintain logs and records (on computer and written).
- Work with other professionals as necessary.
- Support our young people with emotional or behavioural needs and help to develop social skills.
- Ensure the home is clean and kept to a good standard during each shift.
- Provide care for all of our young people including: personal care, bathing and showering, assistance with eating and drinking, tube feeding, administration of medication, cooking, cleaning, and other activities as and when required.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience is advantageous although not essential as training will be provided.
- A good understanding of young people with varying disabilities and challenging behaviours is essential for this role.
- Candidates must have good English communication and IT skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
Employment details
- Rate of pay is subject to experience.
- Working Hours: 21:45 – 09:30. Shifts are allocated on a rota basis.
- Full-time position available. Contract times will be discussed but will include weekends.
