Role Details
Being a Driver at Creed Foodservice is about more than delivering on time. You will build relationships with regular customers, provide a personalised service, and often support a variety of sites such as Schools, Care Homes, Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels and Leisure facilities. You may have regular routes and the opportunity to go the extra mile to deliver excellent service. New starters participate in an induction day as a Driver's Mate to understand the role and its importance to customer service. You will make multiple drops each day, delivering temperature-controlled products (frozen and refrigerated). You will carry out temperature checks and take required breaks to comply with driver regulations. You will follow all legislative requirements including drivers hours, and drive with due care and attention. You will complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time (VC40, Temperature Records, Debrief), conduct daily vehicle checks, resolve issues, report accidents, and ensure that the vehicle (and where applicable fridge and freezer) are fuelled.
Responsibilities

- Follow legislative requirements concerning drivers hours and ensure vehicles are driven with due care and attention.
- Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork (VC40, Temperature Records, Debrief).
- Conduct daily checks, resolve issues and report accidents.
- Be an ambassador for the company, promote brand values and enhance the company’s image through appearance and behaviour.
- Ensure the vehicle (and where applicable fridge and freezer) are fuelled.
