We are looking for a Graduate to Intermediate level engineer (1-4 years experience), passionate about sustainable design, and ready to grow a career within our forward thinking building services consultancy. At Eco-Nexus Engineering, we deliver innovative, sustainable, building services design across multiple project sectors, including public, private, regeneration, healthcare, education, defence, commercial, and industrial. Our team places sustainability at the core of everything we do — designing efficient, compliant, and environmentally conscious solutions.
What You'll Do
- Support electrical building services design across a diverse range of projects, including low voltage power distribution, lighting (internal/external), emergency systems, fire alarm, security systems and data systems.
- Produce technical drawings, calculations and reports to support design development from concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with clients, fellow building services engineers, architects, structural/civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, making valuable contributions to inform key project milestones.
- Gain real world experience assisting with site inspections, surveys and project coordination.
- Ensure designs are sustainable, compliant, and aligned with our ethos of lean, green, and clean.
About You
- Hold an HNC/HND, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Have a keen interest in sustainable systems and design innovation in the building and construction sector.
- Are familiar (or eager to learn) with AutoCAD/Revit.
- Communicate clearly and work well in a collaborative team.
- Are committed to professional growth and are motivated to work towards professional registration with bodies such as CIBSE or the IET.
- Want to make an impact in the future of sustainable building services engineering.
