About the Role
As Bird Control Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from initial survey and quotation through to completion.
You'll work closely with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to understand requirements, recommend practical solutions and ensure projects are delivered safely, professionally and commercially.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out site surveys and identifying bird-related risks and requirements.
- Assessing buildings, structures and environments to determine appropriate solutions.
- Producing recommendations and quotations.
- Managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Coordinating customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Planning and monitoring project activity, timescales and requirements.
- Providing technical advice and managing customer expectations.
- Resolving issues and finding practical solutions.
- Building strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to develop existing and new business.
- Maintaining accurate project and customer records.
- Supporting the continued commercial growth of the business.
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in the person than a checklist. You may already have strong experience in bird control or bird proofing, but we would also consider someone from a pest control, construction, facilities, technical or project management background who demonstrates the right potential.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in bird control, pest control or another relevant technical environment.
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Confidence dealing with customers, contractors and stakeholders.
- A commercially aware and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to take ownership and work independently.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ambition to develop their technical knowledge and career.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Bird-control experience would be advantageous, but it isn't necessarily the deciding factor.
