As we continue to grow our presence across the UK, we are looking for a genuine new business hunter to join the team. This is a pure new business role.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers and convert prospects into long-term partnerships, positioning Eco Counter as the go-to partner for mobility data solutions across the country.

What you will be doing:

  • Working closely with the General Manager, you will develop and deliver new business strategies targeting opportunities within the Active Travel and Transport market.
  • You will drive outreach through proactive prospecting, professional presentation and a sharp ability to turn conversations into commercial outcomes.
  • Your focus will be on understanding client needs and matching them to the right Eco Counter solution, always with long-term recurring revenue in mind.
  • You will engage directly with decision-makers in cities, counties, national parks and public bodies, becoming a trusted expert in their network.
  • Beyond individual deals, you will attend industry events and trade shows to build market knowledge, track competitor activity and strengthen Eco Counter's presence across the sector.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone who genuinely loves the front end of sales. The thrill of opening a new door, building a relationship from nothing and closing a deal that matters.
  • You will have 5 to 10 years of experience in the public sector and a proven track record in new business development roles.
  • Experience in Active Travel, Transport or Road Safety is a strong plus.
  • You are comfortable explaining technical solutions clearly, confident with senior public-sector stakeholders, and at ease working independently while staying connected to the wider team.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional international visits, is expected.
