ECMWF is recruiting a motivated Research Software Engineer (A2) to contribute to data encoding/decoding and the open-source ecCodes project, within ECMWF's Foundational Software Services. You will join a multidisciplinary team that handles GRIB/BUFR, NetCDF, and earthkit components, enabling robust data workflows for research and production.

You will work with scientists and engineers across ECMWF and member states to deliver reliable, scalable software and contribute to core libraries.
