Product Owner in Stevenage

We are seeking a Product Owner with experience in Underwriting, driving initiatives that optimise and digitise the underwriting journey. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of underwriting through innovative solutions, streamlined processes, and enhanced customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Break down iterations and size stories for effective delivery.
• Set clear sprint goals and manage backlog priorities.
• Lead Sprint Reviews and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Track benefits and measure outcomes against objectives.
• Provide production support and resolve issues promptly.
• Facilitate workshops to gather insights and foster collaboration.
• Elaborate requirements and perform story sizing.
• Support agile ceremonies and maintain team engagement.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across the value stream.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for successful releases.
• Write and communicate benefits to demonstrate value delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Insurance company.
• Strong understanding of underwriting processes and digital transformation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and deliver in fast-paced settings.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.).
