As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced

Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of client engagements, programmes and managed services across the insurance market.

The Role

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for assuring transformation programmes and client engagements from mobilisation through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with client stakeholders, ECMS consultants, delivery partners and Eames Consulting to build high-performing teams, manage delivery risks and create long-term client relationships.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys solving complex business problems whilst driving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Delivery
  • Assure the delivery of transformation programmes, projects and managed engagements.
  • Configure, understand and validate delivery plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance.
  • Ensure successful execution of business, technology, data and operational change initiatives.
  • Drive project mobilisation, planning, execution, reporting and closure activities.
  • Ensure delivery achieves agreed business outcomes and benefits realisation targets.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary delivery contact for assigned accounts and engagements.
  • Communicate project status, risks and recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Influence decisions and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate ECMS consultants, SMEs and third-party resources.
  • Create high-performing delivery teams with a strong focus on collaboration and accountability.
  • Coach and mentor consultants to support their professional development.
  • Foster a delivery culture focused on quality, commercial awareness and customer success.
  • Commercial & Business Growth
  • Support proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs) and client presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
  • Work closely with ECMS leadership and wider Group to create and deliver client solutions.
  • Contribute to account growth, revenue targets and strategic business development initiatives.
  • Quality & Governance
  • Establish and maintain robust project governance and reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure delivery methodologies, standards and controls are consistently applied.
  • Manage delivery risks and issues proactively, escalating where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools and ways of working.

Experience & Skills

Essential

  • Experience delivering complex business or technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong programme and project management capabilities.
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client management experience.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, risks and governance processes.
  • Experience working within consulting, advisory or professional services environments.
  • Highly Desirable
  • Insurance, reinsurance, broking or financial services experience.
  • Experience delivering data, digital, technology or operational transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience creating SOWs and outcome-based delivery models.
  • Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile PM, Scrum, PMP or equivalent.
