This Senior Product Designer role is vital to the development of the next generation of web applications for this company's scientific engineering software. The position includes overall UX design with a particular focus on interaction design. This is a chance to re-examine and refine the overall experience, including workflows, with a fresh look and modern design processes. You'll work alongside the development team, subject-matter experts, and company leaders. You will develop interaction models and track product evolution through refinements. You will help to establish the overall design strategy.
You will have:
- Significant experience in interaction design for complex software products. Domains of interest could include scientific and engineering software, modelling / analysis / simulation tools, CAD / ECAD, PLM and other data-heavy and workflow-based products.
- Demonstrable experience (as shown in your portfolio) translating complex tasks into intuitive workflows and views.
- Spent time scoping and validating your designs through sessions with real users which have led to significant design elements and refinements.
- Experience working closely with development teams, and advocating for UX whilst considering the product domain.
