This highly respected market-leading software company produces state-of-the-art modelling tools used by hundreds of multinational companies in the energy sector. They are expanding into new industry sectors and are seeking to hire a Software Engineer with expertise in advanced AI/ML solutions within production software.

As part of a newly formed AI team, you would play a key role in designing, developing and deploying new software features with AI functionality into their current desktop and web software tools. You’ll understand the importance of security and compliance for industrial applications and be comfortable with structured and unstructured data for ML guided inference.

You are a senior engineer, so will be comfortable with technical leadership and project ownership whilst having the ability to work well within a team. Further, your experience will allow you to understand software problems regardless of the technology stack and version specificities of the programming language.

Requirements:
  • 1st / 2.1 degree in computer science or similar, and ideally a relevant postgraduate degree.
  • Extensive demonstrable experience as a software engineer, with the confidence of a senior level individual contributor.
  • Your past projects will include multiple instances of architecting, developing and maintaining production software for scalable AI applications.
  • Hands-on coding skills with a broad range of technologies including C++ and/or C#.
  • Additional Python familiarity is expected.
  • Specific experience in developing robust APIs with AI integration.

This role is based fully onsite at their newly refurbished offices. Parking is available.
