Working at the epicentre of AI research for the UK defence industry, you will lead a team dedicated to studying AI security. The goal is to further cutting-edge research and engineering approaches to solve real-world problems in AI/ML security. Your team will be working closely with partners in government, academia and industry to raise the UK's overall capability and expertise in this area.
As a leader in this domain, you will be heavily involved in the team's strategic direction, identifying the problems and challenges that need solving. You will also need to be highly technically competent as you will be providing technical leadership. The quality and integrity of the team's output will ultimately be your responsibility.

Requirements:
- PhD or extensive commercial experience in AI security
- Direct experience developing and deploying technologies in the UK defence industry
- Team management, project management and strategic direction setting experience
- Sole UK Nationality and residency for the last 10 years (required for high level security clearance)
You will be working in an organisation that attracts the best and brightest. The work environment is very collaborative within a team; however, for security reasons, collaboration outside a team can be more limited. You will nominally be working out of their central London HQ, however, they run a hybrid working policy and so you could be in the office as little as one day per week.
