Role Overview
A well-established company is seeking an RTL Design Architect with strong expertise in verification and good management skills to join their Cambridge-based development team. You would be working in a friendly, welcoming culture, collaborating with an exceptionally bright and capable group of engineers, and adding your own particular areas of expertise. With a high degree of autonomy, you can expect some interesting design challenges as you lead the design and verification effort for a broad array of RTL components that will subsequently become the building blocks of advanced devices. You would become the go-to person for optimal design verification using simulation and formal techniques. It is expected that you would collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders, and be confident in running projects.
Qualifications
- A strong mathematical background with 1st or 2.1 first degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, or similar subject from a leading university and strong supporting A-level (or equivalent) grades
- Substantial expertise in front end RTL design and verification, skills in RTL simulation and Synthesis tools, System Verilog
- Previous success in managing complex projects, requirement capture, and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
- Coding skills (ideally in C++, C, Python or TCL) together with a solid understanding of software engineering best practice
