This electro-mechanical engineering company build low-to-medium volume products used in the aviation and defence sectors.

They are looking for experienced Assembly Technicians to put together prototypes and finished products.

This could include soldering, wiring and cable harnesses, mechanical integration, and use of hand power tools for precision assembly.

Requirements

  • HND / BTEC in electrical or electronics engineering, and demonstrable experience in electronics, mechanical or manufacturing of electro‑mechanical devices.
  • Experience of mechanical assembly and ideally integration of optical assembly.
  • Strong appreciation of QA processes and documentation within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication skills are needed to deliver projects and prioritise tasks.

Interested candidates must be eligible for security clearance, be able to work full time onsite, and be able to drive (and ideally have their own vehicle).

Workshop / offices are commutable from (south) Cambridgeshire, north Essex and north Hertfordshire.

Some business travel may be required.
