The team are hiring, and looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join them. The role requires hands-on practical skills with a deep understanding of scientific and engineering fundamentals, coupled with a commercially-savvy approach to convince potential clients and deliver world-class systems. The company has superb facilities to allow you to experiment and develop pilot tests, and through successive projects, you will be allowed to build up your project leadership acumen.
Requirements:
- You’ll have a strong academic background in mechanical engineering or similar, but moreover, can demonstrate strong experience of electromechanical system design and integration for energy or chemical process systems.
- Your technical expertise should include: calculating stress analyses and thermals, expertise with CAD, mechanical component specification and procurement, system-level risk management, systems modelling using MATLAB / Python, and a broad understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Additional experience with regulatory frameworks associated with pilot plants / hazardous environments would be desirable.
