Numerical method development for new software products
This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills in numerical analysis and numerical methods to develop engineering fluid flow simulation software used widely in industry.

With work underway on the next major revision of this software and many new features on the roadmap, there will be plenty of work to keep you engaged.

At its core this work requires the creation and modification of numerical methods for solving PDEs and ODEs and therefore requires strong understanding of numerical methods and analysis to produce robust and efficient algorithms.

Ultimately your work will need to be implemented in code, so some skills with numerical programming are also important.

You will need:
Excellent knowledge of numerical methods for solving ODEs and PDEs
A Ph D in a STEM subject
Good numerical programming skills, ideally in C#
Good technical communication skills

You will be joining a well-respected company that has provided software products to multi-nationals for over 40-years.

They are the de facto standard in several of the sectors they operate in.

You will be joining a team of mathematicians and scientists all working on the core mathematics while also engaging closely with teams of programmers to convert your insights into the finished products.

The working style is formal and collaborative, and you should expect to be in the office full-time.
