Design and optimise RF systems for AI augmented sensing applications. This defence company develops a range of products utilising their core AI technology. Their products use high-frequency RF systems for sensing. The company are looking to recruit a Senior RF Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team.

As an experienced RF Engineer, you would take responsibility to design and optimise RF systems including antennas and beamforming technologies, test and validate RF hardware, perform relevant RF simulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into complex systems.

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for UK security clearance (ideally previously held this).
  • Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and demonstrable RF engineering experience involving RF design and testing.
  • Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment, and relevant RF modelling tools.
  • Experience with phased-array antennas, beamforming, microwave theory, RF front-end components, RF communication standards.
  • Additional experience with Linux and associated programming would be desirable.

Experience engineers looking to step up into a senior role are also invited to apply. Due to the nature of projects, the role is fully onsite at their offices (although some travel may be required to attend other office sites or meet with customers). Further, due to offices being located away from regular public transport, applicants are expected to be able to drive.
