Working alongside the CTO at an RF startup poised to change the industry in Cambridge. This ambitious startup has been carefully developing a new RF radio technology and is now beginning the process of productionisation and qualification.

They are seeking an RF Systems Architect to work closely with the CTO and play a central role from RF design through algorithm and software development to testing and validation. You will own the end-to-end RF system architecture and be the key technical bridge between the various teams in RF design, algorithm development, embedded software and test.

You will be able to translate regulations and international standards into both product and test specifications as well as identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies. A strong background in commercial RF systems, RFIC or RF module development covering core design as well as related embedded software and testing/validation activities is required. Ideally, your experience will be related to mobile RF front-ends.

Demonstrable ability to define system architectures and RF specifications while balancing performance, complexity, risk and manufacturability is essential. Prior experience at a startup or in a fabless semiconductor company would be beneficial but is not necessary.

This company is situated in modern offices to the north of Cambridge with good road and rail links. Remunerations include a strong base salary bolstered by a share option scheme and private medical insurance amongst other benefits. You can expect to be in the office full-time, and they offer flexible working hours.
