Front end web development; Central Cambridge office with hybrid work options Working closely with customers in the automotive and aerospace industry sectors, this software company develops products that help turn ideas into engineering designs. They are looking to recruit for a frontend web developer with experience of TypeScript. The role will include: the development build of intuitive web applications using TypeScript and Angular for cross-browser functionality; Optimisation of web applications for scalability and efficiency; and Championing modern User Experience. Requirements: * Demonstrable commercial experience developing front end web applications (ideally of a scientific or engineering nature) using TypeScript, HTML and CSS. Additional exposure / experience with Angular would be desirable. * Good eye for detail and visual aesthetics which have been leveraged for User Experience designs. * Good communication skills. A STEM degree would be a nice-to-have but more important are the relevant technical skills and experience you have and the willingness to keep on learning and developing. No company sponsorship is available. Candidates on time-restricted work visas would also not be considered. On offer is an excellent remunerations package including a range of benefits.
