Architecting intelligent orchestration of multi-component system for regulated manufacturing in Cambridge. As a Senior Software Systems Engineer, you would be turning complex, clinical requirements into actionable workflows in software. The architecture will have the adaptability for future-proofing, whilst having the robustness needed within a regulated industry. This will require clarity in the software requirements which can be followed by the development team; understanding of trade-offs and technical risk; adopting relevant regulatory compliances; technical documentation; and agile based planning.
The role is a mix of software architect, product manager, software systems engineer and project manager. These mixed disciplines will all be needed to ensure a clear message is spread throughout the company so projects can be delivered successfully.

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Extensive experience in delivering complex software systems for manufacture or operational environments.
- Understanding how to build and manage robust, regulated systems using tools such as DOORS or Jama.
- Demonstrable project experience across systems engineering lifecycle from requirements capture to integration, verification and project completion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with internal and external software teams as well as other stakeholders.
- Strong project management understanding so everyone is aligned, priorities are understood and scope of projects are feasible.
