The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

Varied early-stage project work using novel techniques and technologies. This team of scientists and engineers work on cutting-edge defence projects using their combined skills in electronics, mechanics and software to solve challenges key to retaining the UK's position in the world. While projects are kept secret for good reason, you can expect to be working in areas such as communications, remote sensing and RADAR amongst others. With the face of warfare changing almost daily, this is both an exciting and challenging time to join.

You will be working in well-equipped office and laboratory space outside Cambridge in a work environment that empowers you from day one. You will also be expected to take a full part in client meetings and contribute to tendering processes for new projects.

Requirements:

  • Significant industrial experience in RF PCB design and characterisation
  • Strong skills with RF design tools such as ADS or CST
  • Top degree in Electronics Engineering or similar
  • Strong commercial and communications skills

While not strictly required, additional industrial experience in any of the following areas would be desirable: RADAR, communications, microwave RF, high speed digital PCBs, antenna design, DSP, electronics test, or scripting for test and modelling.
