They are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer to join their team and help them deliver the next versions of their RF technologies to market.
Projects are challenging.
Their innovations combine software with algorithms used for RF hardware, which means real world applications and sound software engineering practices with a strong aptitude for applied maths.
Their algorithms may arise from maths models or signals from early prototypes, they all need to be understood and best utilised in the resultant software.
Requirements
- Extensive demonstrable experience (applied to industry) for software projects related to hardware products (ideally a smart RF device).
This should include familiarity with a range of software languages and technologies including Python (and possibly C or C++).
- Experience with hardware based algorithms and implementation of them using Python.
- Strong software engineering experience including the use of unit testing, application of algorithms and relevant validation processes.
- Experience (or exposure) to RF applications would be highly desirable. This could include RF measurements, real time wireless systems or communication protocols.
- Strong academic achievement (including A /A grades in maths and physics pre-university) and a high 2.1 / 1st in electronics, computer science, physics of similar from a top ranked university.
Due to projects involving hardware, the role would be mostly based onsite at their Cambridge offices (occasional hybrid working is possible when projects allow).
