High speed electronics design and development This is a fully hands-on mid-senior electronics engineer role, designing, prototyping, debugging, verifying and integrating complex RF hardware. You would be working on a multiple products for a variety of applications as well as associated test tools and manufacturing systems. Typically, you can expect to be involved with PCB layout, RF components, FPGAs, VHDL and/or Verilog, low level communications buses, embedded software, and creation of schematics and other documentation. There are elements of liaising with other teams, supporting other company functions such as marketing and sales, and of course planning and scheduling work to deliver the work on time, but the focus is very much on engineering. You will need: * A degree in electronics or a similar subject from a well-ranked university * Expertise in high speed electronics design: PCB layout, low level comms (SPI, I2C etc.), FPGA, Verilog, VHDL, microcontrollers and SOCs * Embedded C and assembler coding skills * Experience developing for embedded Linux * Practical prototyping circuits and use of common tool such as Oscilloscopes, logic analysers, signal generators etc. * Full, existing, and unrestricted right to work in the UK RF engineering experience isn\’t essential, but an interest would be an advantage.
