Job Description
Consultancy projects, Digital, RF, FPGA, PCB, Defence, Energy, Comms, Medical\\n\\nThis multinational engineering consultancy is recruiting in their Cambridge office and looking to hire electronics engineers to join their multidisciplinary teams. They are looking for experienced engineers with formal qualifications in electronics to work on a range of projects which have included smart wearables, satellite phone communications, military defence hardware and smart energy meters.\\n\\nEngineers will gain consultancy skills including project management, resource planning, customer engagement and business development. Those skills will be developed with engineers moving into consultancy from product companies; however, engineers already having some consultancy experience will be provided opportunities to expand that experience.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Strong academic background including a degree in electronics engineering (and possibly advanced degrees).\\n\\n * Demonstrable industry experience as an electronics engineer working on sophisticated, complex electronics systems.\\n\\n * Expertise (or at least high level of competence) with one or more of the following:\\n\\no FPGA / ASIC design including Verilog\\no RF electronics design (including LNAs or Power Amplifiers) and\\ntesting\\no Digital electronics design including SoC, high-performance\\ndevices and embedded interconnects (DDR4, PCIe).\\n\\n * General experience with Altium Designer, PCBs, DSP, firmware, C++ / Python would be beneficial.\\n\\n * British national (dual nationals will be considered) who are eligible for UK security clearance.\\n\\nThe company are recruiting for a number of positions, so electronic engineers interested in varied consultancy work are invited to apply.\\n\\nOn offer is a supportive work environment and opportunities to advance your career whilst having interesting and challenging technical projects to work on.
