Helping engineers develop automotive systems with state-of-the-art technology This Cambridgeshire based team creates advanced technologies to support vehicle development within the automotive sector. An opportunity has now arisen for a talented Applications Engineer to join them, helping to provide training and expert support to their industry clients. After getting up to speed with the company\’s range of products, you would become the point of contact for engineers within client companies; helping your counterparts to achieve the best possible results. Your remit will include developing product demonstrations and application examples, assisting clients with solving problems, assisting internal product development through the feedback you accrue whilst working with clients, creating and maintaining documentation, and keeping abreast of new developments in the industry as a whole. The role will suit a candidate with an inquisitive mind, strong problem solving skills, and confident communication style. You will need: * A good degree in a relevant automotive engineering or related subject from a well-respected university * An excellent understanding of control systems, automotive instrumentation and communications buses (CAN etc.) * Good problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills; presentable and able to work directly with clients * Full existing and unrestricted UK work permission MATLAB, Simulink, VBScript, C#, or Python would all be useful, but not essential.
