Audio Visual Technician in London

Currently, we're seeking an organised and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our team and help us streamline our event preparation process.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the Sales, Events, and Partnerships Teams to provide Audio Visual services and support for events including conferences, exhibitions, dinners, suite meetings, partnership events, hospitality, entertainment and tours.
• Attend event meetings with internal and external event organisers to understand requirements, provide technology solutions and advise on best practices.
• Work with inhouse and external production companies to plan events utilising 3rd party and venue owned equipment.
• Take ownership of AV technology services for events, ensure event organisers requirements are met and AV services are successfully delivered to a high standard.
• Create event planning processes to ensure that all event related meetings and correspondence is documented and agreed.
• Create, document and carry out pre-event check procedures for all events.
• Run AV technology at events including pre-event set up / testing, event support and the pack up of all equipment.
• Provide training to events assistants and hospitality teams.
• Upload and schedule digital signage for events.
• Provide AV support in meeting rooms.
• Install matchday entertainment / band AV equipment.
• Carry out any other duties as may be requested by the line manager within the scope of the role.

Experience Required:

• Experience of working in a live events environment (technical and coordination).
• Ability to fault find and resolve technical issues in time sensitive high-pressure situations.
• Ability to prioritise requests from multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to plan multiple events at the same time, whilst keeping event documentation up to date throughout the planning process.
• Working knowledge of integrated AV technology including QSYS, Crestron and Tripleplay Digital Signage.
