Hours: 8-hour shifts between 6am–10pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility required)
About the Role: Our client is a successful and growing logistics business looking for an organised and proactive Warehouse Stock Controller to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies.
- Carry out regular stock counts and audits.
- Monitor stock movements and optimise warehouse storage locations.
- Develop and manage replenishment plans to support operational demand.
- Produce and analyse stock reports using warehouse management systems.
- Support the management of returned, aged, obsolete, or expired stock.
- Work closely with warehouse, finance, and customer support teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
- Help train and support colleagues on stock control best practices.
Essential requirements:
- Previous stock control, inventory management, or warehouse administration experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent accuracy with data.
- Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Desirable Skills Experience:
- Experience with SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables.
- Experience analysing inventory data and producing reports.
