We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Osteopath with additional Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy expertise to join our multidisciplinary clinic. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, hands-on musculoskeletal care, combining osteopathic assessment, manual therapy, and advanced soft tissue techniques to support patients’ recovery, performance, and overall wellbeing.
This role requires a patient-centred practitioner who can confidently assess, diagnose, and deliver tailored treatment plans for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient consultations, assessments, and case histories
- Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions using clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
- Deliver osteopathic manual therapy, joint mobilisation/manipulation, and rehabilitation techniques
- Provide sports massage, deep tissue, and soft tissue therapy as appropriate
- Create personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Prescribe exercises and provide self-management advice
- Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment accordingly
- Support injury prevention, recovery, and performance optimisation
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred care
- Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
- Build long-term therapeutic relationships
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and communication
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical notes
- Follow safeguarding, consent, and confidentiality guidelines
- Adhere to infection control and health & safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and refer when necessary
- Contribute to clinic development and health promotion initiatives
- Participate in ongoing CPD and professional development
- Degree in Osteopathy
- Registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC)
- Qualification or proven experience in Sports/Deep Tissue/Soft Tissue Massage
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and CPD
- Experience in private practice or multidisciplinary settings
- Sports injury or rehabilitation experience
- Additional certifications (e.g., dry needling, taping, exercise rehab)
- First Aid qualification
