About the Role
We are a dynamic software consultancy seeking a Web Development Team Lead to guide our dedicated team in delivering bespoke web applications. This role combines hands-on development with strategic leadership, offering the opportunity to influence both technical direction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client meetings, providing technical insights and building trust through clear communication.
- Align technical solutions with client business objectives to drive value and ROI.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure effective collaboration among team members.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Utilize dedicated learning time to explore new technologies, including AI tools, assessing their potential value to our services.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient in JavaScript, PHP, and React, with experience in developing large-scale, business-critical applications.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and oversee web development projects from inception to completion.
- Proven experience in mentoring or leading technical teams.
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts to clients and suggest improvements confidently.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and clients effectively.
- Familiarity with Git and experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in a consultancy environment and familiarity with cloud technologies, especially AWS, is desirable.
