What will your key responsibilities and duties be:
- Repair or replace items around the hotel and support with refurbishing items in our guest rooms. By keeping on top of these tasks, you\’ll keep our hotels looking great and working well.
- To repair, maintain and replace all electrical and plumbing fixtures, fittings, decor and general appliances for our hotel guests and Team Members, ensuring minimum inconvenience;
- Ensures that all works carried out are recorded/noted on our online maintenance system;
- Supports and assists contractors and suppliers when these are on site;
- Ensure that that all your jobs are carried out efficiently and to a high standard whilst adhering to health and safety legislation;
- Carryout preventative maintenance tasks as directed by our Group Property Manager. Ensure that a record is kept of any tests that you complete.
- To maintain a clean and organised workspace, and to manage our hotel inventory securely including tools, supplies and equipment, as well as the maintenance of plant, equipment and building including fixtures and fittings;
What we are looking for:
- Good working knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, hot water, experience with HVAC, boilers, painting and tiling will be an advantage;
- Strong communication skills with a ‘hands on\’ pro-active approach;
- Ideally you will be a good team player and have the ability to take ownership of tasks and workload;
- Proactive, composed, enthusiastic, approachable, able to build strong rapport with guests and other Team Members
