The Opportunity
This isn’t a “keep the lights on” admin role. We’re looking for a NetSuite Administrator who’s solid in the fundamentals but hungry to level up — someone who wants exposure to bigger systems thinking, automation, integrations, and real ownership. If you’re the kind of person who’s been thinking “I know there’s more I could be doing with NetSuite”, this role is built for you. You’ll work in an environment where improvement is expected, learning is supported, and progression is intentional — not accidental.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning day-to-day NetSuite administration (roles, permissions, workflows, saved searches, reports)
- Supporting users across the business — but also identifying ways to reduce support demand through smarter setup
- Building and optimising workflows and automation to improve efficiency
- Maintaining data integrity and system performance
- Assisting with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
- Partnering with finance, operations, and tech teams to translate business needs into system solutions
- Documenting processes and improvements (so knowledge scales with you)
What We’re Looking For
Core skills (you’ve already got these):
- Hands-on experience administering NetSuite
- Comfortable with saved searches, workflows, roles & permissions
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical users
Growth indicators (this matters more than perfection):
- You’ve started exploring SuiteScript, integrations, or advanced customisation
- You actively look for better ways to do things — not just follow existing processes
- You’re curious about why things work, not just how
- You’re open to feedback and want to improve quickly
What You’ll Grow Into
This role is designed to move you forward. Depending on your direction, you could evolve into:
- Senior NetSuite Administrator
- NetSuite Consultant / Solution Architect
- Systems or ERP Lead
- Integration Specialist
We’ll support you with:
- Funded certifications (NetSuite + relevant tools)
- Dedicated learning time
- Exposure to projects beyond pure admin work
- Mentorship from experienced system and finance professionals
What Makes This Role Different
- You won’t be stuck doing repetitive ticket work all day
- Your ideas for improvement will actually be implemented
- You’ll get visibility across the business, not just IT
- There’s a clear path forward — not a vague “maybe later”
Who This Is Perfect For
Someone who:
- Has 1–3 years of NetSuite (or similar ERP) experience
- Feels underutilised or boxed into basic admin tasks
- Wants to become really good at systems, not just competent
- Is ready to take ownership but still wants support while growing
Bonus Points (Not Required)
- Experience with SuiteScript (even basic)
- Integration tools (e.g., Celigo, Boomi)
- SQL or data analysis skills
- Finance or ERP process understanding (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay)
Final Word
If you’re looking for a role where you can quietly maintain a system, this isn’t it. If you want to build expertise, take ownership, and become someone businesses rely on for how their systems actually work — we should talk.
