The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Burton-in-Kendal, who are recruiting for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position, and to be successful you will need to have experience in a similar role. This requirement is set to last around 6 weeks, and you will need to be available immediately.
Typical duties include:
- Overseeing and supporting the Purchase Ledger function
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Managing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
- Supporting month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT return preparation
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members
- Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider finance team
You will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- AAT Level 4 qualification
- Proven experience using Xero Accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
