An opportunity is available for an experienced High Speed Digital and Hardware Design Lead to develop specialist expertise across advanced electronics design. The role focuses on MPSoC FPGA and AI acceleration hardware for applications including SDR, radar signal processing and sensor fusion, with a long-term pathway towards technical leadership and specialist expertise. Typical responsibilities include: Leading high-speed digital electronics design and development across the full product development lifecycle Developing MPSoC FPGA, DDR, Flash memory and high-speed serial interconnect solutions Working with Systems, Software, Firmware, Mechanical and Production teams to develop optimised hardware architectures Supporting the Technical Lead and Architect while taking ownership of detailed high-speed digital design and wider electronics activity Supporting board-level testing and debugging while ensuring designs are configured and documented to a high professional standard The ideal candidate will have: Solid experience in complex, high-speed digital electronics design Experience with MPSoC FPGA, DDR and Flash memory and high-speed serial interconnect design Experience with Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis Proficiency in VHDL alongside C, C++ or Python for board-level test and debug Knowledge of DSP concepts relevant to SDR, radar signal processing or optical sensors, alongside strong collaboration and communication skills This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not limited to: Long-term career progression towards Technical Lead, Specialist or Expert positions Company bonus scheme, based on company performance Strong employer pension contribution Flexible working arrangements welcomed Enhanced parental leave, covering maternity, adoption, shared parental and paternity leave, plus neonatal leave and fertility testing/treatment support Excellent on-site facilities, including subsidised meals, gym, café and more Please note that due to the nature of the client's business, only candidates who currently hold full British Citizenship without limitations, or Dual Nationality inclusive of British Citizenship, will be considered.
