Our client, a leading global organisation, is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join the team. The successful individual will play a vital role in taking ownership of multiple complex product development projects through the full lifecycle.
Key duties will include:
- Oversee multiple projects and programmes across hardware and software development.
- Take accountability for managing deliverables, KPIs, budgets, and schedules in line with business expectations.
- Proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Manage and lead project meetings and ensure consistent communication with internal stakeholders.
- Drive high-performing team environments with strong morale and operating efficiency.
- Ensure project quality and regulatory compliance are embedded in delivery.
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in leading complex, multi-disciplinary product development projects.
- A technical background with experience across software and hardware development environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science), or equivalent practical experience.
- Accredited certification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, IPMA, SAFe).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience with embedded software and hardware integration.
- Experience with procurement specifications, supplier management, and configuration workflows.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with proven experience managing stakeholder communications.
- Confidence in resource planning, forecasting, and financial tracking.
