My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of HR Operations to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation based in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of a key operational function, lead a team and play an important role in shaping and improving HR processes across a growing organisation. The Role Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will lead a team of three, including two junior HR Administrators who will require supervision, coaching and development. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and developing the HR Operations function. Overseeing Learning & Development activity. Supporting the HR Business Partner and HR Director. Working closely with Payroll and wider HR teams. Managing HR processes, policies and procedures. Supporting the review and rewriting of HR policies and processes. Using HR systems, data and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency. Providing guidance and support to schools and stakeholders. Managing and negotiating with trade unions – essential. Coaching and developing junior HR team members. Driving continuous improvement across the HR function. About You They're looking for someone who is: Confident, highly organised and proactive. A strong self-starter with a positive attitude. Comfortable taking ownership and accountability. Able to influence, engage and encourage others. A confident communicator with strong stakeholder-management skills. Willing to go the extra mile and make a genuine difference. Experienced in trade union negotiations.
