A leading defence organisation is seeking a hands-on Test Solutions Engineer to join their team. You’ll develop, deliver, and validate test solutions, simulators, and emulators for complex engineering systems, taking ownership from defining requirements through to testing and reporting results. This role is ideal for engineers with strong experience in test development and verification, whether in electronics, optical systems, mechanical systems, or R&D environments. Defence experience is not required – practical engineering and problem-solving skills are the priority. What You’ll Do: * Define requirements and acceptance criteria for test solutions * Design, build, and validate test rigs and simulators * Execute manual and automated testing, analysing and presenting data * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions * Identify and mitigate technical risks through structured testing approaches Skills & Experience: * Strong experience in test development, execution, and verification * Proficient in test automation, scripting, and data analysis (Python, Labview, Matlab, or similar) * Able to troubleshoot complex systems and provide root cause analysis * Effective communicator, able to present technical findings clearly * Comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on engineering environments This is a great opportunity to work on challenging projects, grow your skills, and make a tangible impact on engineering solutions.
