Eclectic Recruitment is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Criminal Solicitor to join its growing Criminal Defence team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor at the beginning of their qualified career looking to develop within a supportive and collaborative environment offering high-quality work, strong exposure and genuine long-term progression.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing and assisting on a range of Criminal Defence matters
  • Supporting clients through Police Station, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court matters
  • Preparing legal documents, applications and correspondence
  • Attending client meetings and taking instructions
  • Liaising with Counsel, Courts and external agencies
  • Managing files from instruction through to conclusion
  • Providing high levels of client care throughout matters

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Previous Criminal Law experience during training contract and/or Paralegal experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive and team-focused approach
