The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
We are currently working closely with a leading defence organisation who are looking for a Lead Architect to join a dedicated and collaborative systems engineering team. This is a full-time permanent position with dynamic hybrid working (3–5 days on-site depending on classification).
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the generation of architectural artefacts across a complex mission planning and control project.
- Guide and support other architects in a multi-product environment.
- Drive modularity and re-use across multiple systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leads to ensure delivery of work packages on time and within scope.
- Influence system design and take ownership of architectural vision across the programme.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in complex systems architecture with hands-on experience in MBSE.
- Experience working within product line environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
- Proven ability to lead small to medium work packages independently.
- Strong analytical thinking and an aptitude for tackling complex engineering challenges.
Proficiency with:
- Rhapsody and SysML (essential)
- IBM Engineering Workflow Management / Rational Team Concert (essential)
- DOORS Next Generation (ideal)
