Responsibilities
- Managing and assisting on a range of Criminal Defence matters
- Supporting clients through Police Station, Magistrates' Court and Crown Court matters
- Preparing legal documents, applications and correspondence
- Attending client meetings and taking instructions
- Liaising with Counsel, Courts and external agencies
- Managing files from instruction through to conclusion
- Providing high levels of client care throughout matters
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor
- Previous Criminal Law experience during training contract and/or Paralegal experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and team‐focused approach
