Our client is seeking a Logistics Assistant to join their friendly operations team in Huntingdon. This is a part-time role for an initial period of 6 months.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing incoming goods and preparing customer orders for dispatch
  • Coordinating deliveries, collections and courier services
  • Supporting customer returns and repair processes
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to provide updates on orders and deliveries
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing general administrative tasks
  • Supporting the wider operations team to ensure a smooth and efficient service

The successful candidate:

  • Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Is proactive and able to manage their own workload
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
  • Takes a positive and flexible approach to work
  • Previous experience in logistics, shipping, customer service, administration or operations would be advantageous, but is not essential.
