We are supporting an established engineering company based in Cambridgeshire who are looking to take on an Apprentice Production Technician to their team.
Main responsibilities will include
- Assembly of equipment
- Processing orders
- Attending college 3 days of week in first year
- Preparation of equipment for shipping
- Overseeing stock: unpacking and processing parts, assuring quality, labelling
- Control of materials, such as purchase order progressing, raising purchase orders
- Attending to returned equipment from customers: repairs, testing, recalibration
- Keeping working area clean and tidy
The successful candidate must have
- Proactive nature
- Practical skills and manual dexterity
- Confidence in communication
- Good, general level of IT skills
- Access to transport
Desirable
- Previous manual projects, such as repairs, decorating, construction
- Own car
