We’re working with a well-established and reputable law firm based in Harrogate, who are looking to recruit a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their busy Family department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised legal support professional to provide full administrative assistance to Family Fee Earners.
The role involves managing files, supporting client communication, preparing court documentation, and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently in line with firm and regulatory standards.
Typical duties would include:
- Providing full administrative support to Family Fee Earners using the Proclaim case management system
- Managing files, documentation, and matter progression in line with regulatory standards
- Handling client and third-party calls and correspondence professionally
- Preparing court documentation and electronic bundles
- Managing diaries, appointments, and key deadlines
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or legal administrative support role, ideally within Family law
- Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- High attention to detail with accurate written work
