Data & Compliance Manager\\n\\n(Full-time, School-based role)\\n\\nWe are supporting a leading independent school in their search for a highly organised and detail-oriented Data & Compliance Manager to join its IT and administration team. This vital role sits at the heart of the school’s operations, supporting staff and leadership with accurate data, effective reporting, and ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Manage and maintain school data systems\\n\\n * Ensure accurate pupil and staff records, timetables, and permissions.\\n\\n * Produce and analyse reports (Power BI and other tools) to support teaching, learning, and whole-school performance.\\n\\n * Lead on compliance matters, ensuring GDPR and regulatory requirements (DfE, ISI, ISC) are met.\\n\\n * Maintain the school’s compliance database, mandatory training records, and policies.\\n\\n * Support inspections, audits, and readiness processes.\\n\\n * Provide training and support for staff on MIS systems and reporting tools.\\n\\n * Assist with timetabling, academic scheduling, and other administrative duties.\\n\\nThe ideal candidate will have\\n\\n * Strong experience with data management and MIS systems (SIMS or equivalent).\\n\\n * Confidence with reporting, data analysis, and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).\\n\\n * Knowledge of GDPR, compliance frameworks, and inspection requirements.\\n\\n * Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\\n\\n * A proactive, collaborative team player with high attention to detail.\\n\\nThis role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring the school runs smoothly and remains compliant, while directly supporting the success of pupils and staff.
